Hey! My name is Alwyn Curnow, I am a 17 year old student from New Zealand! I am currently
working on level 2 and 3 work for NCEA and intend to focus on a creative based career once I
finish college. I love basically anything Nintendo in terms of both the games they produce
and the designs of their characters. My dream jobs are to work for Nintendo as a character
designer, concept artist or animator, work for an anime studio in any department or
work at Weta Workshop.
I grew up loving comics and art but never wanted to get into it myself. Media in general was always something I was interested in but it was only in 2016 where I got serious about wanting to work in that industry for my career. I started getting into journalism, manga, anime and film and with that I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
Contact Me!I have not been working with tools required to work in the media and creative industry for a large amount of time, however I have many skills. I can effectively navigate and organize a computer with a specialty in Windows operating systems and I can touch type. I can use any kind of pad tablet for computers, I have a solid grasp on the basics of drawing and I have strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CC and Clip Studio Paint. I have good communication skills, time management and efficiency in my work flow and am always up to learning new things! I understand basic but essential html and css web coding. I always want to work hard and deliver my best efforts but I know my own limitations and can keep myself healthy both physically and mentally.
