Wharenui

The wharenui “Hinerangi” is considered the cultural centre of the College and opportunities are provided for all to develop an understanding of, and involvement in, the culture of the Tangata Whenua.

Cultural welcomings and celebrations are held here on occasion as well as Maori classes throughout the year.

The wharenui has been on the school campus for a number of years and has always been used as part of the schools cultural activities.

Recently the Wharenui and Chapel were used as part of a liturgy showing some of the scenes from the bible.
