Stitch has been a life long passion for Sarah and her partner Jenny. The company started in their college days when they were both in the same class. When in school, Sarah applied to every competition and although she never won many of them, she thoroughly loved the challenge of learning and competing with other students.
She did win a weeks work exerpice with one of Wellington top fashiopn designers Laura Perry. While at Laura's studio she met up with a couple overseas buyers and from there she new she wanted to be in this field. Her current collection is based on metro users. Sarah says"it is about making my clother feel part of someones body". Sarah gets many ideas from wild Wairarapa and tailors them to city use.
